Faith in the Fire
The purpose of this book is to document the persecution the believers are facing in Algeria because of their faith and belief in Jesus.
Rev. Youssef Yacob is a native Algerian who was born and grew up in a very conservative Muslim home. He came to faith in Christ in 1980, while studying in Sweden, and he met his wife Hee Tee at All Nations Christian College while studying from 1983 to 1985. In 2016, they went back together to the same college and completed their master’s degrees there in 2016-17. Youssef and Hee Tee have been serving the Lord in Algeria with Operation Mobilization since 1988. They founded the «House of Hope Fellowship and Ministries», and the Algerian 4 Missions training centers.
They have three daughters; Noura, married to Chip (who have three children), Lydia and Sarah. Youssef is also the vice president of the EPA (The Algerian Alliance of Churches).
